
He is a former "Big Six" firm consulting services manager, specializing in mid-range and network based systems.
Prior to that, he was the Information Technology Manager of a large real estate synidcator. In that position, he was responsible for bringing all computer processing in-house in a two year timeframe, which resulted in savings of over $4 million during a 5 year period.
Mitchell has over 24 years experience in information systems. He has held positions as a programmer, programmer/analyst, technical services manager, IT manager, Consulting Services Manager, and as a vice president of a document management systems integrator.
He is the former Vice President of the HP 3000 Bay Area Regional Users Group (BARUG). He is a well known speaker at regional and national computer conferences on topics such as MIS Management, Disaster Recovery, Document Management, Performance Management, and Selecting Financial Software.
Mitch is also a published author of articles and papers.
He currently holds MCP+Internet, MCSE, and MCT certifications from Microsoft for Windows NT.
